What we use
The chargewise_session cookie keeps a signed-in user authenticated. It is HTTP-only, secure in production, SameSite=Lax and expires after no more than 30 days. Short-lived browser session storage may hold a one-time checker claim capability while you move from a result to account creation.
No advertising cookies
Chargewise does not currently set advertising, cross-site tracking or non-essential analytics cookies. Because the existing cookie is strictly necessary to provide the account service securely, a consent banner is not required for it.
Future changes
If optional analytics or advertising technology is added, it must remain disabled until you make a choice. This notice and the on-site controls will be updated before that change is deployed.
